Thank you for your support over the past years.
SeccyGoose was started by a group of friends looking for something fun to do and fun to share during covid times. We had a great time making Kakecube and working on other game projects.
As the post-covid world has begun to open back up again, our lives have changed. Though we loved working on Kakecube, it didn’t grow as well as we had hoped and we all needed to move onto other projects. As our lives changed we found we had less and less time for all the things an active company needs.
In the end, we have decided to wind down SeccyGoose’s projects and shut down. We aren’t quite ready to say goodbye to Kakecube though, so we have the following announcements:
The full version of Kakecube will be given a final update and the price changes to free. We will release this as soon as we are happy with the feedback from our test group.
The lite version of Kakecube (with ads) will be retired and removed from the stores. Please update to the full version after the price change if you are playing lite.
We are not planning any future expansions or content updates after this last update. We will make compatibility updates on a best effort basis as long as it makes sense to do so.
Email support is discontinued. We are sorry if you contacted us and were not able to get support. For help, please see the FAQs.
If there is interest in the Kakecube we may consider reviving it in the future.
We aren’t sure how long we will continue to publish, as we are paying for servers and licenses to publish a game for free.
We really enjoyed making Kakecube and we hope you enjoy spinning the Kakecubes to awesome new high scores.
